Online nutrition and fitness coach, founder of Become Athletic, based in Edinburgh. Background in applied sports science and a long personal history across strength and endurance.

My method is built on doing the fundamentals exceptionally well, designing an environment that makes the right choices easier, and creating habits that hold long after the two weeks are over.

Frequently asked questions

Is there a cost?
The assessment is offered as a complimentary benefit of the Courtyard Health Clinic partnership, for new members and clinic referrals. It's a genuine two weeks of personal coaching attention, included in full.
How much time does it ask of me?
Very little. Three short calls across the fortnight, plus a few minutes a day to record what you eat in the first week. The method is designed to fit around a demanding schedule, not add to it.
Do I need to count calories or weigh my food?
Not necessarily. A written food record works perfectly well, and a tracking app is fine if you prefer one. On the onboarding call we'll settle on the approach that's easiest and most accurate for you.
What happens after the two weeks?
You keep your assessment, your feedback and the changes you've put in place. On the final call we set out exactly where to take things next so your progress continues, whether you do that independently or with ongoing support.
Is everything done online?
Yes. Calls are held over video and feedback is delivered by call or personal video, so the whole assessment fits around your schedule from wherever you are.
I have a medical condition or dietary requirement. Is that okay?
Absolutely. Share the details on the onboarding call and the plan is built around them. This is a nutrition assessment focused on habits and practical change, and it complements rather than replaces medical advice. Anything clinical stays with your team at Courtyard Health Clinic.
